5-course dinner with 7 wine pairings

This exclusive five-course dinner, paired with seven carefully selected wines, offers a rare opportunity to experience the legacy of Corryton Burge — one of Barossa’s most respected winemaking families. Hosted by Grant Burge, a fifth-generation winemaker whose name is synonymous with Barossa craftsmanship, this evening showcases a portfolio defined by balance, depth and an unwavering respect for tradition.
A highlight of the evening pairs pasture-fed Gippsland rib-eye—where slow heat allows the marrow to infuse the meat, creating a bold, layered finish—with two expressions of Shiraz that each tell their own story. The 2023 Kith is fresh and vivid, while the 2020 Kin ‘Percival Norman’ unfolds in rich, savoury layers, together offering a nuanced glimpse into Corryton Burge’s approach to classic Barossa reds.
Throughout the evening, Grant will guide you through his collection, sharing insights into his winemaking journey, the stories behind each label and his passion for crafting wines that capture both place and personality.
More about
Corryton Burge Wines
Corryton Burge is a sixth-generation, family-owned winery in South Australia's Barossa Valley. Established in 2019, the winery pays homage to their heritage through the historic Corryton Park Homestead in Eden Valley, a property dating back to 1845. The Burge family cultivates over 300 hectares of vineyards across the Barossa, Eden Valley, and Adelaide Hills, producing a diverse range of wines that reflect the unique terroirs of these regions.
The winery offers two main collections: the Kith range, featuring approachable wines like Eden Valley Riesling and Barossa Shiraz, and the Kin range, showcasing premium selections such as The Brigadier Cabernet Sauvignon and The Patroness Chardonnay. Chief Winemaker Matt Pellew, awarded Barossa Winemaker of the Year in 2022, leads the winemaking team with a focus on quality and innovation.
