This Valentine’s Day, Rare invites you to celebrate love the way it should be celebrated. Slowly, indulgently, and over exceptional steak and Australian produce at its peak.

On Saturday 14 February, all Rare venues will be offering a curated experience, with a special lunchtime opening at Midtown and Uptown.

From lunches starting at 12pm to intimate evening dinners, our Valentine’s Day experience is designed for couples who appreciate great food, good wine, and time well spent together. Chose below your Valentine’s experience.

The Valentine’s Day Feast

Four courses | $180 per person

An indulgent, layered experience that builds from refined starters to a show-stopping main.

Expect elegant seafood to open, rich and comforting mid-courses, and a premium Surf ‘N’ Turf finale featuring a 1kg O’Connor T-Bone paired with prawns and seasonal sides. A menu designed for sharing, savouring, and settling in.


1st Course:

Smoked Salmon & Dill Mousse Tartine
with fig jam, prosciutto and topped with caviar


Seafood Mille-Feuille
Layered crisp thins with mango salsa and capsicum cheese dressing

2nd Course:
Pulled Rare Beef Ribs
served on fried jalapeño cornbread with horseradish cream

3rd Course:
Bacon Wrapped Pork Belly
with honey balsamic reduction and apple & mint slaw
*Halal option avail.

Main Course:
Surf 'N' Turf - 1Kg O'Connor T-Bone, Pasture Fed MS3+
and Glazed Prawns with lemon buerre blanc
Served with crispy potatoes on corn & capsicum sauce and asparagus

The Romance Feast

Two courses | $130 per person

A more relaxed yet equally satisfying way to celebrate.

Begin with a generous entrée platter to share, followed by your choice of premium Rare steaks, cooked your way and served with classic sides. Finished with a shared indulgence of mac & cheese, because some things are better together.

Entree platter to share:
Wagyu and potato croquette with smoked capsicum aioli.
Signature Pork Ribs *Halal option avail.
Roasted Field Mushrooms with garlic butter and feta

Mains
300g Eye Fillet, Pasture Fed
350g O'connor Scotch, Grain Fed
300g O'Connor Porterhouse, Grain Fed
Served with your choice of chips or mash and a sauce

Important Booking Information

  • Bookings are essential

  • All guests must select their menu at the time of booking

  • Dinner service is set menu only

  • À la carte menu available during lunch service only

  • No menu changes available on the day

  • Dietary requirements must be advised by Wednesday 11 February

  • A $50 per person pre-authorisation applies to all set menu bookings

  • Dining time is strictly limited to 2 hours

  • Please arrive on time, as tables will be rebooked
